Specific Learning Disorders

Dyslexia is a learning disorder that manifests as difficulty reading and mastering how written words are related to speech sounds. It is a result of differences in the areas of an individual’s brain that process language. 

Dyscalculia is a learning disability in mastering mathematics. It impairs the sufferer’s ability to learn number-related concepts, they have trouble with completing mathematical calculations, can have trouble with reasoning and problem solving and other numeracy skills. It can sometimes be called “number” or “math” dyslexia.
